The Perfect Milk Alternative: Creamy Tehina Drink

This amazing, creamy drink is easy to make, packed full of nutrition, and super tasty! A great milk alternative for anyone looking for a solution to a dairy allergy or just wanting to broaden their nutritional horizons. Please note that there are numerous sweeteners that you can use (I’ve listed a few of my favorite below for you).

1/2 cup tahina (I prefer raw for this recipe, but you can use roasted as well)
3 cups filtered water
Your choice of one of the sweeteners listed below
Dash of salt

Sweetener options:
1/4 cup honey
4 large pitted medjool dates , soaked in warm water for about 30 minutes
2 tablespoons agave nectar
1 ripe banana

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
*Alternatively you can put all ingredients into a tall container and blend together with an immersion blender.
